Terms & Conditions
These terms govern your use of ldrtradersrvsf.com and any vehicle scrapping service you take from LDR Traders (“we”, “us”). Please read them before submitting an enquiry or handing over a vehicle.
The short version. We buy end-of-life vehicles, scrap them at a government-registered facility, and issue the certificates that let you deregister the vehicle. A price quoted online is an estimate until we inspect the vehicle. You must own the vehicle and it must be free of loans and dues. Once dismantling starts, it cannot be undone.
1. Acceptance
1.1 By using this website, submitting an enquiry, messaging us on WhatsApp, or handing a vehicle to us, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1.2 If you do not agree, do not use the website or our services.
1.3 Where you accept these terms on behalf of a company, fleet or institution, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.

We operate as a Registered Vehicle Scrapping Facility under the vehicle scrapping rules made under the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, and under the consent conditions of the applicable Pollution Control Board.
3. Who can use this service
3.1 You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract.
3.2 You must be the registered owner of the vehicle, or hold a written authorisation from the registered owner, or be the legal heir with succession documents.
3.3 We accept vehicles only from within the areas we serve. If your vehicle is outside that area we will tell you before scheduling anything.
4. Quotes and pricing
4.1 Any price shown on this website, in a calculator, over WhatsApp or on a call before inspection is an estimate. It is based on what you tell us about the vehicle.
4.2 The scrap value of a vehicle depends mainly on its weight and the current market rate for the materials recovered, which moves.
4.3 A quote is valid for 24 hours unless we state otherwise in writing.
4.4 The final price is confirmed after our surveyor physically inspects the vehicle. If the vehicle differs from what was described — missing engine, missing parts, different weight class, flood or fire damage — we will tell you the revised price before proceeding, and you may decline.
4.5 Where we mention government scrappage incentives, road tax rebates or manufacturer discounts, those are offered by third parties on their own terms. We do not control them, cannot guarantee your eligibility, and are not liable if they are withdrawn or refused.
5. Documents you must provide
5.1 We cannot scrap a vehicle without the documents the law requires. You agree to provide, in original or as we specify:
- Registration Certificate (RC) of the vehicle
- Photo identity and address proof of the registered owner
- Bank account details for payment, in the owner's name
- NOC from the financier, where the vehicle carries a hypothecation
- Insurance and tax papers where available
- Authorisation letter, board resolution or succession documents, where applicable
5.2 You confirm that every document and detail you give us is true and genuine. Submitting a forged or altered document is an offence and we will report it.
5.3 If the RC is lost, tell us at the enquiry stage. Scrapping is still possible in some cases but takes longer and needs additional steps at the RTO.
6. Ownership, loans and dues
6.1 You confirm that you own the vehicle free of any charge, and that it is not:
- under a subsisting loan or hypothecation without a financier's NOC,
- under seizure, attachment, court order or police custody,
- involved in a pending criminal case or insurance claim,
- stolen, or carrying tampered chassis or engine numbers,
- blacklisted on VAHAN.
6.2 You are responsible for all dues on the vehicle up to the date of handover — road tax, challans, parking fines and any loan balance — and you indemnify us against any claim arising from a defect in your title.
6.3 We verify ownership, hypothecation and dues on VAHAN before accepting a vehicle. If the check fails we will not proceed, and any deal is void.
7. Survey, key handover and pickup
7.1 We schedule a survey at the vehicle's location. Someone authorised must be present with the documents.
7.2 The key handover is the moment custody passes to us. Our representative records the odometer reading, photographs the vehicle, and takes a signature from the person handing it over. You receive a record of this.
7.3 Pickup within 100 km of the facility is free. Beyond that, towing is chargeable and we will tell you the amount before you agree.
7.4 Time slots are indicative. Traffic, weather and vehicle availability can move a pickup. We will keep you informed.
7.5 The vehicle must be accessible. If it is in a basement, blocked in, or cannot be towed out for a reason we were not told about, an additional charge may apply or the pickup may be rescheduled.
8. Payment
8.1 Payment is released after the key handover is recorded, and the vehicle is removed afterwards. Until removal, the key is held by us as security for the payment made.
8.2 Payment is made by bank transfer or UPI to an account in the registered owner's name. We do not pay into third-party accounts without a written authorisation and proof of relationship.
8.3 Payments normally reflect within 24–48 working hours of release, subject to your bank.
8.4 If you give us a wrong account number or IFSC, we are not responsible for a payment that lands elsewhere. We will assist in recovering it but cannot guarantee it.
8.5 Any towing or handling charge agreed under clause 7 is adjusted against the amount payable to you.
9. Cancellation
9.1 You may cancel free of charge at any time before the key handover.
9.2 After the key handover but before dismantling begins, you may cancel by returning the full amount paid to you along with any towing cost incurred. Once dismantling has begun, cancellation is not possible.
9.3 We may decline or cancel a job — before or after survey — if the documents do not check out, the VAHAN verification fails, the vehicle differs materially from what was described, or we reasonably suspect fraud.
10. Scrapping and certificates
10.1 Once the vehicle is in our custody and cleared, we depollute, dismantle and scrap it as required, and issue the statutory certificates — the Certificate of Deposit and, on completion, the Certificate of Vehicle Scrapping.
Dismantling cannot be reversed. The chassis is cut and the vehicle ceases to exist as a vehicle. Nothing can be returned to you after this point, and the certificate we issue records that the destruction took place.
10.2 Parts and materials recovered from the vehicle become our property on handover. You have no claim to them or to their resale value beyond the agreed price.
10.3 Remove all personal belongings, documents, accessories and the FASTag before handover. We check the vehicle and hold anything found for 7 days for you to collect; after that we are not liable for it.
10.4 Certificates are issued in the registered owner's name only, and cannot be transferred or reissued in another name.
11. Deregistration
11.1 We file the scrapping record with the transport department, but deregistration is done by the RTO, not by us. We cannot guarantee its timing or outcome.
11.2 Pending challans, tax arrears or a court order against the vehicle can delay or block deregistration. Clearing those is your responsibility.
11.3 Any scrappage certificate benefit — a road tax rebate, a manufacturer discount, or a registration incentive — is granted by the government or the manufacturer under their own rules. We issue the certificate; we do not decide who qualifies.
12. Use of this website
12.1 All content on this website — text, layout, graphics, logos and the LDR Traders name — belongs to us or our licensors. You may not copy, republish or use it commercially without written permission.
12.2 You agree not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or its systems, submit false enquiries or automated bulk submissions, scrape the site, introduce malicious code, or use the site for anything unlawful.
12.3 We may suspend access, refuse service, or remove content where these terms are breached.
12.4 Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience. We do not control them and take no responsibility for their content.
13. Disclaimers and liability
13.1 The website is provided on an “as is” basis. We work to keep the information accurate and the site available, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
13.2 Information on this website about scrappage policy, incentives, tax rebates or RTO procedure is general information, not advice, and rules change. Verify anything important with the relevant authority.
13.3 To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of a vehicle transaction is limited to the amount we paid or agreed to pay you for that vehicle.
13.4 We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — including loss of profit, loss of an incentive you expected, or delay caused by a third party such as an RTO, bank or financier.
13.5 Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence. Your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 are unaffected.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against any claim, loss, penalty or legal cost arising from a breach of these terms by you, from information or documents you gave us that turn out to be false, or from a third party's claim to the vehicle.
15. Force majeure
We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control — including natural disaster, fire, strike, civil disturbance, epidemic, power or network failure, or a change in law or a government order affecting scrapping operations.
16. Governing law and disputes
16.1 These terms are governed by the laws of India.
16.2 The courts at Hapur, Uttar Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
16.3 Before going to court, please raise the matter with our Grievance Officer below. Most issues are resolved faster that way.
16.4 If any clause of these terms is held invalid, the rest continues to apply.
17. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms as our services or the law change. The current version is always the one on this page, with the date shown at the top. The terms that apply to your transaction are the ones in force on the date you handed over the vehicle.
