Scrapping Process
The scrap value of your vehicle depends on several factors rather than just its age. At LDR Traders RVSF, every vehicle is evaluated based on:

Our valuation follows industry standards and the Government of India's Vehicle Scrappage Policy to ensure fair and transparent pricing.
Once the quotation is accepted by the vehicle seller, our team normally schedules pickup within 24–72 hours, depending on your location and availability.
Pickup can also be arranged based on the seller’s availability.
For corporate fleets or multiple vehicles, dedicated pickup schedules can also be arranged.
We offer pickup across our operational regions through our authorized logistics network.
For locations outside our regular operating zone or requiring special recovery equipment (such as cranes or long-distance towing), additional transportation charges may apply. These charges, if any, will always be communicated before pickup.
The complete process generally takes 3–10 working days, depending on documentation and RTO processing timelines.
Typical timeline:
Vehicle inspection and quotation – Same day
Vehicle pickup – 1 to 3 days
Vehicle deposited at Authorized RVSF – Same day upon Pickup
Certificate of Deposit (CoD) issued – Usually same day when Vehicle is sold to RVSF, In some cases it may take 1–3 working days in case of problems on the Parivahan Portal.
RC cancellation by Transport Authority – Subject to the processing timeline of the concerned Regional Transport Office (RTO)

Vehicle deregistration is the process of permanently removing your vehicle from the records of the Regional Transport Office (RTO) after it has been handed over to an Authorized Registered Vehicle Scrapping Facility.
The process generally includes:
Book your vehicle for scrapping with LDR Traders RVSF.
Complete ownership verification.
Hand over the vehicle for inspection and pickup.
The vehicle is deposited at the Authorized RVSF.
A Certificate of Deposit (CoD) is generated.
The RC cancellation request is processed through the VAHAN system and the concerned Transport Authority.
Once approved by the Transport Authority, the Registration Certificate is officially cancelled.

The One-Time Password (OTP) is an important security feature designed to protect vehicle owners and prevent unauthorized scrapping or deregistration of vehicles.
The OTP verification confirms that:
You are the legitimate owner or authorized representative of the vehicle.
You have voluntarily agreed to scrap the vehicle.
You authorize the generation of the Certificate of Deposit (CoD).
You consent to initiating the RC deregistration process through the VAHAN system.
This verification helps prevent fraud, identity misuse, and unauthorized transfer or cancellation of vehicle registrations.
Important: LDR Traders will only request an OTP while you are actively completing the official verification process. Our representatives will explain the purpose of the OTP before requesting it. Never share an OTP with anyone unless you understand its purpose and have personally authorized the transaction.
